There is an increased risk of damage to the teeth and mouth whilst playing contact sports and using a mouthguard can help to reduce this risk. Customised mouthguards are made from a mould of the individual’s teeth allowing the best fit and offering the most protection. 

In growing children, mouthguards need to be replaced as the jaws and teeth grow because the mouthguard may become tight and no longer fit. You can and should wear a mouthguard even if you have braces. We can recommend the ideal mouthguard for you and provide a customised mouthguard on request.
