We understand that for many Adult patients Orthodontic treatment may be something that is daunting. This may be due to concerns about how your brace might look, but also how to fit treatment it into your busy life.

Teeth straightening is not just about appearance, it should also be about function (how you bite and chew) and dental health. 

Other reasons you might seek treatment are that you:

• had orthodontic treatment when you were younger but stopped wearing the retainers (relapse)

• have had some gum problems (Periodontal disease) and your teeth have become loose and moved

• need a dental implant or bridgework and space needs to be created

Adults, unlike younger patients may have already had complex dental treatment (fillings, tooth extractions, crown & bridgework) and a multidisciplinary approach is often required involving a number of dental specialists.
